OVERVIEW:

Kaleidescape is seeking a highly motivated, inside sales professional to join our North American sales team. The account manager, inside sales, while working in conjunction with the North American field sales team, will drive to achieve Kaleidescape's sales revenue goals. The ideal candidate will help develop further the dealer channel for North America. This individual will need to have great interpersonal skills to work with other groups like accounting and order processing, support and shipping, as well as to manage several accounts in different sales territories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with inbound phone calls from prospective dealers and customers.
  • Support lead-generation programs.
  • Manage incoming inquiry emails from the Kaleidescape website.
  • Manage incoming phone calls from website inquiries and dealers.
  • Recruit prospective dealers by processing incoming dealer applications, calling on targeted lists, researching specific cities or metro areas or acquired through marketing.
  • Develop an opportunity pipeline by working with assigned dealers.
  • Manage telesales activities around specific programs.
  • Customer or prospective customer sales support.
  • Training and development of dealer staff.
  • Work in cooperation with the field sales team to leverage their strengths to recruit and support dealers.
  • Assist the field sales team with escalation situations that require assistance at headquarters.
  • Ensure that all information is entered and accurate in the Salesforce.com CRM system.
  • Set up appointments for the field sales team for travel to locations outside of the account manager's home town.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of proven success in a telesales environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent lead management skills.
  • Computer and Internet literate.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines, able to reprioritize on a changing daily basis.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com
  • Ethics, humility, integrity, high level intelligence, and accountability.
  • Courteous and good humored.
  • Assertive, goal-oriented personality.
  • Drive, enthusiasm and initiative to ensure successful results.
  • A working knowledge of cinema and television (desired).
  • A working knowledge of the custom electronics, home theater, and residential system integration market(s) (desired).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years experience in inside sales required.
