JOB DESCRIPTION:

Kaleidescape is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to support our dealer and customer base with the installation and maintenance of Kaleidescape Systems. Responsibilities shall include:

  • Responding to phone, email and web queries
  • Helping customers and dealers solve technical issues with Kaleidescape Systems
  • Logging cases in our CRM database
  • Developing knowledge base articles and other documentation on an as-appropriate basis
  • Assessing customer and dealer needs and wishes and constructively communicating ideas to our development and engineering staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline is preferred
  • General understanding of distributed audio-video and custom installation of home entertainment solutions
  • Experience desired in networking, TCIP/IP, audio-video protocols, control systems and storage
  • 3 or more years of customer support and/or custom installation experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Outstanding telephone voice and mannerisms
  • Innovative problem solver
  • High integrity
